I learned a great deal of information when reading the iMovie for iPad Starter Guide through the Apple Teacher Learning Center, and I look forward to applying my new knowledge. The Inspector allows the user to modify the selected clips, photos, audio, and transitions in the timeline of the movie. This includes adjusting the speed or volume of a clip, adding titles to a clip, or applying filters to enhance a clip. I discovered a way to shorten clips before adding it to the timeline, allowing the editor to adjust the length of a segment. This technique can also be done through "trimming". My favorite technique I learned was the ability to add "voice over" to your segments. This can be done by tapping the Audio button and speaking as it records. There are many Apple apps for the classroom, and examples of how a teacher can incorporate the iMovie app into a lesson plan. I am always looking for new ways to grow and become the best teacher for my future students, and this was an amazing way to prepare.
