iPad Badge
Through the Apple Teacher iPad Badge quiz, I learned about Airplay and how I can stream music, photos, and video onto another Apple device. This is crucial for the classroom, as we may switch rooms for an activity, or I may need to access my iPad rather than my desktop. The Accessibility shortcut is a tool I had never heard of before, as well. By pressing the home button three times, a shortcut to a feature appears, making it easy to access apps quickly. Slide Over is a tool that allows the user to view more than one open feature at one time. Split view is similar to Slide Over, but allows the screen to divide evenly and both features to function at the same time. This could be beneficial for students who may need to refer to multiple things when writing a paper or completing a task with the corresponding instructions on the same screen. Reminders will be a very helpful tool as a busy teacher. Little things may slip our minds, and Siri can tell you something at the specific time you need to hear it. Through the Apple Teacher iPad Badge quiz, I learned many helpful tips and ideas of how to incorporate the iPad, or any technology, into the classroom in an effective way. http://Apple Teacher.apple.com
